大森俊之 Toshiyuki O'mori
東京生まれ。
1990年代よりCMやアニメを中心に作品を提供をはじめ、様々なジャンルの音楽スタイルを駆使した作風で、数多くの作品を送り出している。
京都を代表するさまざまなお寺が登場するCM、JR東海「そうだ京都いこう」シリーズでの初期を担当。映画「サウンド・オブ・ミュージック」の１シーンを彩った「マイ・フェイバリット・シングス」お寺ごとに多種多様なアレンジがほどこされ、美しい映像と絶妙にブレンド。このCMで、ACC全日本CMフェスティバル最優秀編曲賞受賞。上質で印象に残る映像はいまもシリーズ化され続けている。
アニメ「新世紀エヴァンゲリオン」ではOpening 「残酷な天使のテーゼ」とEnding「FLY ME TO THE MOON」の編曲を手がけ、映画版ではテーマ「魂のルフラン」を作編曲。社会現象ともなった作品への参加でアニメ界での不動の地位を築く。
2000年頃よりNHKの子供番組の音楽も手がけ、「うたっておどろんぱ！」「むしまるQ」に名曲を数多く残し、現在も「いないいないばぁ！」「天才てれびくんMAX」などに楽曲を提供。
映画・TV番組・アニメなどのサウンドトラックを手がけるほか、ポップスからオペラまで幅広いジャンルのシンガーをプロデュース。高橋洋子、高橋真梨子、島田歌穂、鈴木雅之など歌の上手いベテラン実力派アーティストとの仕事も多い。
映像を観ている人の想像力を喚起する繊細かつダイナミックな作風から、アニメーションなどのフィルムワークも多いが、インパクトあるサウンドロゴなどにも定評があり、CM・ドキュメンタリー・ニュース・バラエティ・建築とのコラボレーションなど、ジャンルにとらわれず多彩に活躍し、シーンごとに全く違った世界を見せる。
最近では、Popsと環境音楽の狭間のオリジナル作品などを発表。音楽業界にとどまらない様々なコラボレーションも増え、今後の作風にも期待が高まる。
Toshiyuki O’mori is a name familiar to recording artists, labels, music publishers, songwriters and television producers in Japan. His songs and music have been heard on records and over the radio/TV airwaves of the world. Working at the “Studio Elephantonica” in the lively artistic life of Shibuya,Tokyo , with many talented musicians and artists getting together, his activities as composer, producer, musician are making parts of best scenes of culture in Tokyo.
With beautiful sensitivity and dynamics on his music, Toshiyuki O’mori is best known for the scores to the animation film ,The Refrain of the soul,Neon Genesis EVANGELION(composer,arranger),the game, FINAL FANTASY(Orchestration), CM-film,JR-express between Tokyo and Kyoto(arranger), TV Documentary ,NHK Wonder&Wonder(theme composer),Children program InaiInaiba!(composer),Film ,Sakigake! Kuromaty Hight school(composer) and dozens more.
For many teen agers,he is one of the founding leader of animation film music and TV programs.
Toshi’s melody is also quite popular in producing artists, such as Yoko Takahashi, Izumi Masuda ,Kaho Shimada, Mariko Takahashi,and others.From pops to classic opara, his producing works are wide-ranging.
Every time ,in each meida,in each scenes, he shows different skills as one of the top composer in Japan.

Toshi’s newly built Studio “Elephantonica” is located at Nishihara, Shibuya, Tokyo. A comfortable control room with a cozy booth for recording of vocalists and instrumentalists, makes it a perfect place for creativity. The newest equipments make it possible to work with projects from all geographical area .
